The Challenge – attracting female talent to a male dominated career path
M&G Investments, the asset manager, are very focussed on ensuring a good gender balance throughout, with a particular challenge being posed by their popular Investments graduate scheme and internship.
The Solution – focussing on our female headhunter networks
We briefed our female headhunters as well as the dozens of “women in” societies we work with, who in turn looked to find interested talent in their peer networks for these positions.
The Result – several female placements made
Despite the stiff competition for places on the schemes (there are 100s of applications for each position) we have successfully placed female graduate and interns onto the Investment scheme over the last 3 years, and we continue to do so.
