What is the role?

  • You will be testing new features against acceptance criteria to ensure they have been met, as well as testing around the acceptance criteria to ensure the feature is robust and fit for purpose.

  • The successful candidate will be working and interacting daily with a cross functional team of Technical and Business Subject Matter Experts such as BA’s Proposition Experts and Developers.  Alongside this, you will be  providing input into estimations and retrospectives to help improve the delivery team.
  • You will be creating and completing comprehensive test plans and test cases as well as writing and executing automated tests using Selenium framework.
  • You will be responsible for raising and managing any defects or bugs identified during the test phase and liaising with the appropriate developers to resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • The successful candidate will support the resolution of Service Desk Incidents and support queries directed to your channel.

Who is best suited to this role? 

  • You will have a degree in STEM related discipline (2:1 preferred).

  • The ideal candidate will have a methodical mindset and logical thought process.
  • You must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • You must be a team-player and demonstrate the ability to work professionally and proactively in a team environment.

  • The ideal candidate would be keen to develop an interest in the Financial Services industry, particularly in Financial Planning.
