Real Estate Internship: 

• This Programme will provide you with a unique introduction into the investment management industry and how the Real Estate department operates within this dynamic sector.

Tax Internship: 

• As an intern in the Tax department, you will be introduced to a variety of taxes with a focus on the investment management industry. You’ll be encouraged to build relationships with people across the business and grow your understanding of tax in a business context.

Investment Internship: 

• During your internship you will be assigned to an investment team in either Equities, Fixed Income or Multi-asset where you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of tasks such as: research projects, shadowing senior executives and learning from some of the best in the industry.

Internal Audit Internship: 

• Your main role will be to support the delivery of audits as allocated by the Internal Audit Manager. This will include a range of activities such as:
  Reviewing policies, processes and standards related to the activity being audited.

Finance Internship: 

• This programme will provide you with a unique introduction to the investment management industry and how the Finance team operates within it. Your responsibilities could range from analysing financial statements and reports, to conducting financial research and presenting the findings to senior colleagues.

Business Transformation Internship: 

• This internship will provide training on the investment management industry and how Business Transformation operates within it, working on tasks such as supporting workshops and supporting programme managers with the development and delivery of project plans.

Wealth Management Internship: 

• During the wealth management internship, you will be assigned to a client or investment team where your tasks could include: assisting client directors in preparing for client meetings, helping to implement policy changes to client portfolios, and undertaking research into specific investments.

Marketing Internship: 

• There are four areas of expertise in this internship: Content Generation, Marketing Production, Marketing Distribution, Digital Analytics and Research. Tasks within these departments could range from writing a thought-provoking article to using audience engagement analytics to measure the success of Schroders’ content.

Schroders Capital Internship: 

• During your internship you will be assigned to the Real Estate team where you will have the opportunity to shadow senior executives and be given broad real estate exposure across investment, asset management, research, sustainability, product and distribution.

Client Group Internship 

• During your internship, you will be assigned to a team within the Client Group where you will have the opportunity to work on live projects and shadow leaders across the business. You might be tasked with researching a project to identify a new market opportunity for Schroders or working with a senior colleague to improve the way Schroders pitch a product to clients.

IIU (Investment Insight Unit) Internship  

• You will be asked to help across a diverse array of the IIU Team’s activities. You will also complete a personal research project under the supervision of one of Schroders’ experienced data scientists to present to the wider team.

Product Internship  

• During the Product Internship you could join a number of teams, including: Product Development, Product Strategy and Product Governance. You will be building a strong understanding of the market, creating products that are innovative, and safeguarding the best interests of Schroders’ investors.

Economics Placement Year: 

• On this 12-month programme you’ll be assisting the team in their wider responsibilities, providing research support and insight.  
• The role is a fantastic opportunity to take your classroom learning and gain a practical application of how economics is used in the real world.  
• You’ll develop a greater insight to how our investors make their investment decisions and how economics can help shape financial markets.

Who can apply: 

• You must have an honours degree or equivalent – Schroders are not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade.   
• You must be in your penultimate year of study and graduating in 2026.
