Core objective of the role 
 

  • Ruffer is seeking to recruit a Performance Analyst within its Investment Analytics team. 
  • As a Performance Analyst you will be assisting with the production, maintenance and analysis of monthly and quarterly performance for Ruffer’s client portfolios and funds.  
  • You will also be required to regularly validate performance numbers and ensure that all performance reconciliations are resolved in a timely and accurate manner.  


Role summary – Key Responsibilities
 

  • Production of monthly and quarterly performance figures, ensuring the accuracy of performance data across the entire client base and fund range 
  • Preparation and production of monthly and quarterly client and fund reporting in a timely and efficient manner 
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders across different departments to help facilitate accurate and timely client reporting and performance. 
  • Responding to all reporting requests in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Maintaining and updating procedures where appropriate.
     

Who is suitable to apply?  

  • A recent graduate or candidate with 1-2 years of experience in financial services 
  • Understanding of asset management, active investment and performance and attribution analytics would be valuable but is not required. 
  • Awareness of (or experience using) enterprise investment platforms such as Aladdin and StatPro 
  • Have the full right to work in the UK. 
  • Highly focused and organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Be able to maintain high standards of accuracy and demonstrate initiative & self-discipline. 
  • Able to work under time pressure and handle a number of tasks at a time 
  • Enthusiasm for learning and personal development.
