What is Pathways to Planning?  

Pathways to Planning is a new graduate programme, launched in September 2023, which aims to discover graduates from all degree backgrounds with a passion for helping to design and sustain built and natural environments, and to become local government planners. The scheme works with more than 20 local councils in England who hire graduates as part of the programme and support their career development as accredited planning professionals.

Salary: £12 an hour for 15 hours

You must be attending one of the following universities: Anglia Ruskin University, Aston university, Bath Spa University, Birmingham City University, London South Bank University, Northumbria University, Nottingham Trent University, Sheffield Hallam University, University East Anglia, University of Bradford, University of Hull, University of Leicester, University of Manchester, University of Suffolk  

 

What is the role?  

  • As a Campus Brand Ambassador, you’ll be the face of Pathways To Planning at your university 
  • You’ll be responsible for using your university connections to promote Pathways to Planning opportunities across all corners of campus.  
  • Pathways To Planning are passionate about increasing brand awareness and applications from students from diverse backgrounds. Therefore, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and applications from a diverse audience at your university. 
  • Therefore, your role will include collaborating with societies, academic departments and other networks for these students.  
  • In this flexible, paid role, your tasks could include lecture shout-outs, social media promotion, society collaboration, face-to-face networking and wider promotion at your university such as working with the careers department and other academic departments. 
  • This is a highly creative role, so we are looking forward to hearing your promotional ideas for the campaign!

  • You must be graduating in 2024
