What is the role?

  • In time, you will work as part of Redburn’s general Equity Sales desk, taking on coverage of Redburn client accounts, meeting with clients and prospecting and onboarding new clients.
  • You will learn and understand the Redburn research product and Quant and Chart Tool, as well as tools such as the CRM platform and Bloomberg.
  • You will understand Execution Services and Equity Capital Markets.
  • You will attend the morning meeting, Sales briefings, Redburn-hosted client events and also host junior client events, such as Redburn Connect. 
  • You will be involved in the creation of the Sales product, supporting Salespeople, helping with administrative tasks and account organisation. 
  • You will support with prospecting new clients via the Client Prospecting Programme. 
  • You will prepare stock pitch ideas and present them internally.
  • You will create Sales marketing emails on single stock ideas or themes.

Who is best suited to this role?

  • You must have at least a 2.1 degree at University, in any subject.
  • You must have outstanding communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • You must have clear motivations for considering a career in equities. 
  • Ideally, you will have experience or exposure to the industry.
  • You will have a genuine interest in equity markets with the ability to show intellectual flair and independent thinking.
  • You will be a highly motivated self-starter with an engaging and persuasive personality.
