This 3-year programme will facilitate professional development and exposure to real life Construction projects in a 24/7 live operational environment Investing in Growth and Service…. Shaping the future together!

Part of the programme will include a leadership development module with the other graduates and a dedicated coach (a senior leader from the business) who will help to build resilience in the workplace. 

Construction, deliver the airport Capital Investment Plan and strategic growth, by building our future infrastructure. As passenger numbers rise, it’s vital we grow our infrastructure capacity but deliver our sustainability goals. 

You will play a part in this growth working across a wide variety of business areas and projects that cover every aspect of the airport ecosystem. Surface access, car parks, terminal buildings or out on our airfield, the opportunity and range of interest is there for you to explore.

The role will also involve:  

  • Building a wide range of contacts internally and externally. 
  • Developing your design management, construction management and project management skills through being involved in complex projects in a constrained operational environment.  
  • Working on £multi-million projects and be involved from inception through to design, construction, handover and completion.  
  • Being part of a supportive and collaborative team working together to deliver infrastructure projects. 
  • Rotating across Construction and Engineering and experiencing different roles across different Programmes.

Do you have what we’re looking for? 

  • Minimum 2:1 Master’s degree within Engineering (graduated 2024 or projected for 2025).  
  • Logical thinker with an aptitude for problem-solving. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite. 
  • Highly numerate, with an understanding of data analysis. 
  • Ability to prioritise and work at pace. 
  • Ability to build good relationships and influence across the Airport. 
  • Creative, innovative, curious to find a better way. 
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, always trying to be your best self. 
  • Team working- you’ll enjoy working in a team environment, sharing ideas, and collaborating with colleagues as well as other graduates.
