What is the Programme?
This 2-year programme will help you to understand more about running our airport. Tailored to suit you. You will be able to give your best and to redefine what is possible. You will be involved in live projects that deliver what matters. Part of the programme will include a leadership development module with the other graduates and a dedicated coach (a senior leader from the business) who will help to build resilience in the workplace.
Starting your rotation in employee experience you’ll develop an understanding of fundamental HR tasks involved in onboarding our employees and the transactions needed. You’ll build your HR & employment law knowledge as you manage 1st line queries from managers and employees who need advice and support in employee related issues.
Then there is a choice between Talent Acquisition and Talent Development. You’ll either learn about attraction, selection, and recruitment trends or learning and development, leadership development and engagement. Both teams assess the people needs across the organisation and design solutions to meet them.
The 3rd rotation will be Reward. You will learn about compensation and benefits. This will give an introduction to pay, job evaluation and benefits and the opportunity to learn about pay models, decision making in benefits solutions and much more.
Your final placement will be in the business facing HR team alongside the Business Partners and People Advisors. You’ll be involved in employee relations casework and supporting Business Partners as they work with their stakeholders on people initiatives.
A career in HR is rewarding and challenging and every day is different!
