What is Audit? 

  • The Audit department examines organisations and confirms that their published accounts are a true and fair representation of their financial position and success.  
  • You could be working for large retailers, banks and global organisations, making a meaningful impact in the work you do. 
  • There will be travel involved in this role, where you will have the opportunity to meet with your clients and conduct site visits. 
  • The work in Audit is seasonal and you can expect to be busier in the first four months of the year with more client visits. 

 

What is the role? 

  • Engage in diverse and complex audit projects, gaining insights into successful business components. 
  • Develop critical thinking skills to provide independent insight and high-quality Audit expertise. 
  • Contribute significantly to continuous improvement in Audit quality. 
  • Receive support from senior leaders, engagement leaders, and the broader Audit community. 
  • You will study towards your ACA professional qualification alongside your role and will access a range of support along the way. 
  • Explore various industry sectors or offices, with rotation opportunities in the final programme year. 
  • Leverage technical skills, commercial understanding, and industry knowledge for a varied and exciting long-term career. 
  • Experience a flexible work environment, balancing remote work with collaboration in offices or at client sites.

Entry Requirements 

  • GCSE Math Grade 5 or B (or equivalent) 
  • GCSE English Language Grade 5 or B (or equivalent) 
  • 120 UCAS points from your ‘top’ 3 A Level grades 
  • 2:1 undergraduate in any degree in any discipline 
  • Willing to be based at the Leeds office, re-location required if you do not live within a commutable distance.
