What’s the role?   

As a BDO brand ambassador, you’ll get an insight into BDO and play a key role in our on-campus activities and engagement with students.  

You will be integral in representing BDO in the right way, demystifying the accountancy sector and supporting BDO in creating a more diverse workforce, by encouraging underrepresented groups to apply to BDO.    

This is a highly creative role, so we are looking forward to hearing your promotional ideas for the campaign!  

What to expect from the role:  

  • Organise and host an in-person event at your university campus with a social mobility focus, alongside a team member from BDO.  
  • Be responsible for promotional activities such as lecture shout outs, social media promotion, society collaboration, face-to-face networking, and wider promotion at your university such as working with the careers department and other academic departments. 
  • Attend events organised by your university or by societies to ensure knowledge of BDO and their opportunities are spread far and wide across campus, thus increasing brand awareness.    
  • Utilise social media to drive engagement to BDO’s Instagram page, including but not limited to hosting an Instagram takeover on their @lifeatbdo Instagram page and creating engaging video content to headhunt ideal candidates.  

Most importantly, you will receive regular support and feedback every step of the way and will work closely with one of BDO’s Early Careers Advisors throughout the season.
