The hiring company is an industry-leading software company selling software solutions to the life sciences industry. Specialising in selling to pharmaceutical companies undergoing clinical trials, their mission is to bring crucial medicines to those who need them, faster. 

They are a  global leader in randomization and trial supply management (RTSM) and supply forecasting optimization software for the life sciences industry. Their products are fully cloud-based and 100% configurable for their clients, making their software incredibly efficient and accelerate clinical trials. This is key to ensuring drugs are developed quicker than ever before – the current drug development timeline is upwards of 15 years! 

The hiring company is a global organisation, having offices in the US, Japan, UK and Europe. They are still a young company, being only 5 years old, and are currently in an aggressive growth phase. 

 

What is the role?

Being a Junior Support Analyst within the customer success organisation of the company, you will be the client’s point of contact for any issues/configurations with their live software. No two days will be the same, as every issue that will come to you will be different!

The projects you will be working on will depend on the needs of the clients within their business. This will largely revolve around configuring the software to your client’s specific requirements – meaning you will go into the software’s back end to implement any of the desired changes. 

Day to day responsibilities:

– Take direction from Sponsor Support Analyst or Production Support Specialist for maintaining the client’s software

– Log, track and resolve any functional and technical issues discovered 

– Assist with support ticket documentation, including peer reviews of system and data change tickets

– Assist with system validation – including study testing, system configuration and change request activities,

– Support system integration activities, including integrations testing

– May serve as Customer Support for any system or support issues where required

 

Who is best suited to this role?

No experience is necessary for this role! All you need is a ‘can do’ attitude, a tenacious approach to problem solving and strong quantitative skills. 

They are looking for someone who has a proven track record of taking initiative in their work. It will be your responsibility to find solutions for your client’s issues, so you need to be able to take initiative in finding solutions for tough problems. 

This role will require you to be highly organised and have strong attention to detail. You will be going back and forth between screens and projects, so you need to be able to keep up!

– A relevant STEM degree (Life Science/Supply Chain/ICT etc.) 

– Good phone manner and interpersonal skills

– Strong problem solving abilities
