What is the role?

  • You will be working to support the service in its current strategic aims and objectives with a key focus in reducing youth violence, improving community confidence, parenting resilience and feelings of safety
  • The projects you will be working on involve effective partnership working, communication, report writing, project planning and delivery.
  • You will be responsible for influencing the direction of the council, presenting any findings to relevant Operational and Executive boards, Cabinet members and partner organisations. 
  • You will have an awareness of public spending and identify the most efficient use of the budget.

Who is best suited to this role?

  • You must have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2.1 degree in any degree subject.
  • You must have strong attention to detail with outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • You should be keen to learn about project management and implement the skills/methodology to drive forward change and improvement. 
  • You should be prepared to undertake an enhanced DBS check!
