What is the M&G Graduate Scheme?
The Asset Management Graduate Programme is a 24-month rotational programme, resulting in a full time role upon completion. During this time, you will rotate through different teams within Investments, Global Distribution & Product, Investment Operations, Controls & Assurance and Sustainability which will provide you with a unique understanding of the Asset Management business end to end. Throughout the 24 month programme you will be working towards completing your Financial Services Professional Level 6 apprenticeship qualification which includes full support in studying towards the Investment Management Certificate (IMC1 and IMC2), and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1. Where appropriate, you may also complete your CFA Level 2
Each rotation is six months, giving you plenty of time to become a value-add member in the team, to pick up day-to-day responsibilities, as well as working on live projects. Throughout each rotation, your manager will work with you to assess your performance: looking at your strengths and areas of development to adjust your personal development plan as your career interests develop.
Moving into the corporate world is an adjustment, and we want to make sure you feel supported in making that step. Upon joining, you will be allocated a buddy from some of our current and previous Graduates to act as a peer-mentor, and we have designed an induction to introduce you to the world of M&G, Financial Services, and equip you with the professional skills needed to effectively transition into the business.
Building a network is key to your career, M&G host a number of social events throughout the year, as well as a host of networking opportunities which you will be encouraged to attend. You will have an opportunity to get actively involved with a number of internal and external employee network communities such as Mind Matters, Elevate, Embrace, Enable and Pride.
What will you be doing?
You will be working on your own projects, supporting team initiatives, and will be encouraged to present your own views and ideas during your time here; graduates at M&G plc make valuable contributions to the teams they work in.
