Our client is looking for an organised and meticulous graduate to join their team as a researcher. You’ll need to be commercially minded, charismatic and have excellent attention to detail. Applicants should also be able to balance different projects at one time and have a keen interest in keeping themselves informed of trends in the financial services industry.

What is the role?

As a Graduate Researcher you will have two main roles. Firstly you will build up your search skills under the guidance of a consultant. This will be done mainly through sourcing, shortlisting and presenting the top talent for clients, using a variety of resources such as their database, LinkedIn and referrals. This is where you will hone your skills in candidate judgement and knowledge, support and learn from consultants, all with a clear path to a consultancy role within 18 months to 3 years.

Secondly, you will become a sector expert in the financial services industry, mainly in the investment management sector, among others. This will be done through market mapping, keeping abreast of key trends and news and making sure the candidate databases are up to date. You will form an integral part of the research team, with the aim to stay on top of the candidate market, gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and sectors.
