Who is the company?

Multimac was established in 1995 when mechanical engineer Kevin Macliver had his fourth child. Despite owning two 7-seaters, he soon realised that they were not ideal. His solution to fitting all the family into one car? The Multimac, a four-seater child seat which could fit in the back seat of your car.  

Having experienced incredible success, Multimac’s turnover is currently around £2.5million. They now have ambitious growth plans for tapping into the American, Australian and German markets – now is the time to join their growing team!

What is the role?

Starting your role as a general office assistant, the scope of your role will overlap with every department. You will learn the intricacies of how a multi-million pound business functions! 

A main aspect of your role will revolve around sales and customer experience. 

This will involve: 

– Responding to phone/email enquiries for the office

– General office administrative tasks

– Ensuring the day-to-day tasks of the business run smoothly 

– Helping clients with queries/issues over the phone

There will also be various ad-hoc tasks which need to be completed, (e.g. collecting materials from suppliers) however these will come up as and when, and will revolve around unexpected issues arising within the business.

The company is looking for candidates with:

Experience in a customer service role is preferable

– Good phone manner 

Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office 

– An inquisitive person who would like to expand their skill set

– An interest in cars is desirable, not required

– Any degree background!
