What is the role?

  • You will be joining the Harlow Group’s Quality and Technical teams.
  • This will be a rotational scheme where the successful candidates will be expected to lead projects for new and existing customers (GE, Ocado, Brompton Bikes, Weidmuller…) while building up the necessary competencies to attain CEng or IEng at the end of the program.
  • The successful candidate will produce First Article and Initial Sample Inspection Reports, being customers’ point of contact for report enquiries; Implement and maintain quality management systems and documentation inline with ISO 9001 and AS9100 systems.
  • The candidate will translate CAD models and drawings to laser/ punch/ CNC machining CAM production and assist with project quotation and costing.

Who is best suited to this role?

 

  • You have achieved a minimum of a 2.1 from university in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree with a strong educational background.
  • You must have knowledge of CAD programmes, ideally SolidWorks.
  • You must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness and be a self-starter.
  • You must be a team-player, with prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
